He worked at the University of Southern California in the research department for 12 years, where he focused on three major subjects: wound healing (helping diabetic people recover sooner), adhesion prevention (the #1 cause of infertility in women), and the creation of a very strong antibiotic.
After receiving his California veterinary license in 1998, he worked for several veterinary clinics as a relief veterinarian. His credits also include two years with the City of Los Angeles animal shelter. In May 2004, he purchased Fox Hills Animal Hospital in Culver City, California.
